YMCA Achievers Program
March 10, 2017

RPHS would like to inform parents and students about the YMCA Achievers Program. Offering a variety of benefits to our students, the program is detailed below:

The YMCA Achievers Program is proud to be part of the YMCA of Greater Boston, the largest provider of social services in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Focused on social responsibility and creating a “college bound culture,” the former Black Achievers Program changed its name in 2010 to reach a wider, more diverse audience of teens and professionals nationwide.
Thanks to strong relationships with high schools and colleges, community youth programs, and resource organizations, Achievers programs are offered at very little or no charge to families thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and donors.
Benefits of participating in the Y Achievers program include:
• Free membership to the YMCA
• Access to college scholarships
• Relationship building and networking opportunities
• Connection to service learning projects
• Summer Employment

10th Grade Chemistry is on youtube!
March 1, 2017

Mr. Smith and Mr. Cherubim have started down the long road to stardom! In an effort to create more resources at home for students to refer to, as well as additional avenues for students to ask important questions, the Chemistry teachers have created a YouTube channel where they will continue to post answers to homework questions.

Videos will be posted weekly and will focus on questions in class, questions on the homework, and any additional questions that students send in to them.
